Ingredients

500 g spaghetti

500 g medium size Shrimps from one of the Blue Island Fish Markets

100 g Mussels from one of the Blue Island Fish Markets

1 onion, finely chopped

1.5 cups dry white wine

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped

3-4 ripe tomatoes, pulped

1/2 κ.γ. teaspoon chilli flakes

Olive oil
-
Fresh parsley
-
Salt
-
Pepper
Instructions
Boil the spaghetti in salted water, until al dente.
Blanch the mussels. Throw away any that don’t open.
Heat 6 tablespoons of olive oil in a shallow saucepan and add the spring onion and garlic. After 3-4 minutes, add the chilli flakes, prawns and mussels. Mix with a wooden spoon and sauté for another 3-4 minutes. Douse with the white wine and add the tomato. Boil with the lid closed for 10 minutes.
Strain the spaghetti and add them to the pan with the seafood sauce.
Add salt, pepper and serve the food sprinkled with some fresh parsley.
