Fish fed with high-quality certified natural, organic fish feed, 100% free of products or by-products of animal origin, free of mutant organisms (GMO FREE).

(Worldwide Standard for Good Agriculture Practices) for animal welfare, environmental and sustainable ecological development, the production of safe and good-quality food, as well as ensuring the health and safety of employees.

What does ISO9001:2015 certification mean for our customers?
The ISO9001:2015 certification is awarded for maximum customer satisfaction through the provision of products with high nutritional value and quality.
At the same time, the company’s facilities are operated in accordance with national and European legislation and have national and European Certification of Compliance with code CYF07.
More specifically, our facilities are approved and apply the rules of Good Industrial Practice, Food Safety and Hygiene for the following:
- Fishery product facilities for:
- Preparation / packaging of fresh fish (farmed and open-sea fish).
- Catch Processing.
- Dispatch Centre for Live Bivalve Molluscs.
- Cold Storage Rooms.
Its facilities have equipment approved in accordance with national and European legislation, and strictly apply the rules of Good Industrial Practice, Food Safety and Hygiene.
The Blue Island Fish Processing and Packaging plant is located in the Strovolos Industrial Area and is certified with both ISO22000:2005 and OHSAS18001:2007.
While holding the specific certifications, the company must undergo rigorous annual audits to maintain them. These certifications certify the production of products using modern and safe methods, as well as ensuring safe working conditions.
